You shall receive. You may remember these shorts from an earlier post I wrote. I was stalking them for weeks and pretty much gave hope of them ever going on sale.That is, until my lovely friend Lauren told me they were on sale for 40% off on Net-A-Porter. Originally $220, these shorts are now almost half of what they were (not that I'm saying over $125 is a little much for shorts, but we all have our weaknesses).  Below you will find the shorts that I can't wait to wear this summer, and a few other cute finds I could not resist.

My Weekend: via Instagram

Hey guys! So sorry for the lack of post yesterday. I went directly from vacation, to NYC for a hot minute, only to get back on the road to travel for my job. This weekend was so relaxing. I got to see my puppy, have some red wine, rock some red lipstick, and hangout by the docks. This trip made me so excited for weekends to come this summer. I hope everyone had a good vacation!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

Brands I Love: Kiel James Patrick

Recently I discovered a brand and product I love: Kiel James Patrick. When I first stumbled upon their website found here, I was in love with the preppy New England style I saw. The reason why the bracelets are so close to home is, as a child I used to go to Nantucket every summer and while there, I shared these rope bracelets with my friends. I haven't seen or thought about them in years. KJP has brought these "friendship bracelets" back in a more classic and adult friendly style. I ordered mine right away and it arrived Friday. Below you will find pictures of the bracelet itself, as well as the detailed packaging that made opening it just as exciting as getting it.

Inspiration: New England Prep

Reader Request: White Blouse

While not a direct request, in my most recent post Wardrobe Girls commented mentioning that they were looking for the perfect white blouse to wear with a pair of cut offs and some new wedges. I couldn't help but rack my brain for some cute blouses I have seen personally in stores and on the internet lately. A white blouse is something that is so versatile that you can wear with cut offs, or if styled correctly, to work. Summer Breeze...

With the warm weather, I cannot stop lusting over warm, summer items. Even though it is only May and my pale skin has not yet embraced the bright whites and short shorts, soon it will be time. What I Bought Weekend

Review: Rebecca Minkoff Sample Sale

For those of you not in NYC who I tormented with the Rebecca Minkoff sample sale, fear not, I came out of the sample sale completely emptied handed. After work yesterday, a few friends and I stopped by to check out the sale I was dying for. There was no line, so we went right in. Upon arriving in the chaos, it was hard to find anything worth getting. I did see girls with several cute bags in their hands, but by the time we got there, the selection had been picked through to the point where there was nothing for us. I love Rebecca Minkoff, and I think that this sale has potential, but I would suggest to anyone going, to go in the morning. At least if you go then, the items are organized and they have restocked the inventory. Hey, I may even go back this weekend to see. Here are some pictures from the event!

Rebecca Minkoff Sample Sale!

For those who do not live in NYC I apologize for this tease of a post. For those of you who do, you are in luck. Around this time of year a lot of sample sales start happening. My personl favorites and successes have been: J.Crew, Tibi, Milly, and Hanky Panky. I have never been to a Rebecca Minkoff sample sale personally, but I am so excited to go today. Here is the information:

When: Wednesday May 9th - Sunday May 13th
Time: 10AM - 8PM (except for Sundy it ends at 4PM)
Where: 260 Fifth Avenue (between 28th and 29th)

I love Rebecca Minkoff, and the fact that bags that are currently on the shelves of Bloomingdale's are being offered for 70% off is incredible. I recently purchased this mini M.A.C from Gilt at a steal:
